Today is a sad day...actually, it was more than just a sad day...it was a BAD DAY!! This morning during assembly, Ms Cai caught me because I didn't wear my camisole! Seriously, the uniform cloth is thick enough! What kind of school forces its female students to wear camisoles in this weather? It is absolutely
insane! Verine was also penalized for that "offence", so Ms Cai sent us to buy a camisole from the bookshop. Then, both of us realized that we hadn't any money on us and we couldn't go to the classroom because it was locked! Thankfully, the bookshop lady "lent" us the camisole first. Have to pay her back tomorrow...$5.90...so expensive. During Science class, my group(Camille, James Lim, James Tan, me) had already finished our mind map. I was merely filing in my worksheets when Mr Firhad came and scolded me for not contributing. Excuse me, but my group finished already?! He didn't really scold but since I was still reeling from the camisole incident, I saw things a little harsher than I should. What's more, during higher chinese class, Zeng Lao Shi just had to break the news that for our composition test, it was done so badly that people actually failed! What if I was the one?? I can't bear to think of the consequences if that were true. I hope it isn't...
On top of having a bad day,
some people just had to make it worse! I shall not name the people. The only happy event today was during choir practice. We were playing solfege bingo and I won
THREE times! So happy! Since we used sweets to mark the spots where the scale was played, I got to keep a whole bunch of it! So, I guess my day wasn't so bad after all...
Soon, you my readers will notice that I don't blog on weekends. That's because I don't wish my parents to know about my blog. So, now I'll tell you about my weekend...
SaturdayMy grandparents went home to Malaysia on this day. So my father had to send me for chinese tuition at 11.45am. Tuition was a big bore as usual and also, the fact that I'm sitting right at the back doesn't help.
Youth Fellowship was great. We studied the last few chapters of the book of Corinthians. Elder Sherman Ong was really interesting . He was telling us about Paul and the meanings behind the letters he wrote in the Bible. He also highlighted a few passages on what to do when encountering problems in life. Rather nice message. At least I managed to stay awake. Next week's lesson is on "Dating and Courtship: Which is biblical?"by Pastor Issac. My father says that a lot of people sleep(literally!) in the sanctuary during his sermons. Hope my session doesn't turn out to be that way.
SundaySunday was a fun day! After church, I went to Jurong Point and met Yun Xi and Prisca there. Really fun! It was my first time going out with friends so you can imagine my delight! But I didn't buy anything. Just window-shopped. Spent only $3.85 on McDonalds lunch. Quite an achievement really. Church sucked anyway. They were briefing us about our project(!) and I was tapping my foot and looking bored as they droned on and on. It finished at 12.30 instead of 12pm. Really sucked. Christine was just as bored too. Reminder: 26th Feb: Christine's birthday.
Will stop here...P.S. I'm in school now...using tablet PC...
