Prologue
the girl next door

http://infinity--onhigh.blogspot.com
I could go back to every laugh, But I don't wanna go there anymore, And I know all the steps up to your door, But I don't wanna go there anymore.
I’ll leave my window open, Cause I’m too tired at night to call your name. Just know I’m right here hoping, That you’ll come in with the rain.

STALKED!
Monday, March 16, 2009

This is the time
To be more than a name
Or a face in the crowd
I know this is the time
This is the time of my life

At last, the March holidays are here! But, unfortunately, I am currently experiencing problems with my iPod. Why does it have to be so TROUBLESOME? I'm so frustrated.
Yesterday was a really long day. And one piece of news to share with all of you, I'M BEING STALKED IN CHURCH! Of all the places on earth, I had to be stalked in church! I'm in the YF, and I haven't been attending the service on Saturdays for a few weeks because the messages were going to be BORING. So Chi Sin keeps looking for me every Sunday to pass me stuff and tell me to come to YF, come to YF. Its just plain FREAKY. Almost like being stalked. When I walked into the sanctuary yesterday morning, Deacon Kenny's wife who's in charge of YF asked me why I haven't been showing up. And she even talked to my father about it. Its crazy. Its not that I hate YF, I just don't go when I have a gut feeling the message isn't going to be interesting. Besides, people there find me weird and don't bother to talk to me. So, what's even the point? Anyway, I'm going next week, to pacify them. The message should be good, as it is on "Spiritual Gems from Proverbs-Part I". Might as well go and learn a few good things.
Went to the Science Center after church. There was a paper aeroplane show my brothers wanted to see so I was reluctantly dragged to the Maxwell Auditorium. But to my surprise, the show was really good! The guy was showing the audience his paper aeroplanes and wow, they were AMAZING! There was an aeroplane that could flap its "wings", exactly like a bat. Thus, it was called "Bat Plane". There were so many others that I just can't recall their names now but overall, the show was great! When the show was over, my family and I went walking around the place, looking at all the exhibitions. Then, it started to rain very heavily. The roof was leaking so badly that people couldn't enter certain exhibitions. I was annoyed because I wanted to see the iSpace exhibition but because the place was flooded, we weren't allowed to step in. Reluctantly, we left. My parents wanted to buy a birthday present for my youngest brother from the Curiosity Shop in Science Center, so we looked around. Eventually, I bought a book on Outer Space for my brother and my mum bought him a board game on geography. Very educational indeed. I spent $6.90 on the book. Then, we had to leave quickly to pick up my brother's birthday cake from the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Wow! I have never gotten a cake from fancy hotels before on my birthday. My brother is so lucky. Unfortunately, on the way, there was a MASSIVE traffic jam and we were caught in it for one and a half hours. I was asleep most of the way, so it wasn't so bad. When I woke up, we were nearing Suntec and well as most of you know, the IT show was on. Thus, there was a huge jam there and I took out my iPod and listened to music. At last, we were free and we rushed to the Ritz Carlton. My mum and I ran in to collect the cake. Its a mango cake, and its most appetizing. The staff member handed us the cake and we paid $66 for it. Very, very expensive. But it takes a long time to make it. We drove home after that. I showered and had laksa for dinner. Mmmm...
At night, we celebrated my brother's birthday. And my word, was the cake delicious:) Mango sponge, mango slices, mango jelly...yummy:)
I watched "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "Slumdog Millionaire" last night. "Slumdog Millionaire" rocked but "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" was rather boring and slow. I would encourage everyone to watch "Slumdog Millionaire" because its an awesome movie. As for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", other than the fact that Brad Pitt is really handsome, nothing else was good about the show. But the ending was quite nice. Everyone acted well but the story itself is slow-moving and that really spoiled the show. But you can watch it if you want.
Okay, at last my iPod is fine. All the songs are safely stored inside, all 126 of them.
I just found Jermine's blog. It really seems like ages ago when I was in Primary 5 at Rulang Primary and I used to always check her bag for "forbidden" stuff like handphones, MP3s, all those kind of things. And she has gotten prettier since I last saw her. She's really pretty and if you don't mind me saying this, gorgeous. Some of you might not agree with me on this point so just go and visit her blog: http://j-ermineng.blogspot.com/. You will believe me then. I wonder if she still remembers me, but I doubt she does. I was just a small, insignificant idiot when I was at that age. Now, I'm just as insignificant as ever. Always giving off shy, quiet, vibes. I still recall when I was asked to bring Jermine to tuck in her shirt in the toilet by Mr Tan, and I just let her go. Besides, her shirt won't be tucked in the next day anyway, so I might as well let it be.
Should I change my blogskin? If you think I should, any suggestions? I think the text is rather hard to read, that's why I want to change it. But I want to change it to a black skin. Its not that I'm emo or anything, but I just like the look of black blogskins. Well, will keep hunting for an appropriate blogskin.
Okay, now I shall go on to talk about my holiday plans. I plan to catch up on my studies and master algebra, and a few components of science. Read more classics and chinese books. I must memorise all there is to know for Secondary One Geography and move on to read through Secondary Two Geography. I can't wait for History to start in the second half of the year. It should be more fun than geography which I seriously can't stand sometimes. Its just so boring. I don't particularly hate the subject but all that measuring using ruler and string, all the countries, the layers if the tropical forest...ZZZZ...
Will stop here...
