Hurray! Finally e-learning week is here and next week is the March Holidays!! For the rest of this week, I needn't go to school because I'll be at home doing my e-learning and what's more, Prisca will be coming over to my house tomorrow to do our work together! Aren't you jealous? Haha...that was stupid...
I just came home. So tired out...before assembly this morning, the vice-principal was scolding this Sec 4 guy who had apparently come late and wanted to go into the hall but unfortunately was detained by the vice-principal. And he put up a fight and tried to force his way up but to no avail. Then I think the vice-principal had an issue with his attire and then he started shouting at the vice-principal and was like, turning round and round, showing him his tucked in uniform and was like saying," See? Tuck in already!" And he was acting all defiant and stuff. But I have absolutely no interest in talking about other people's affairs so I shan't elaborate on.
Today, we had to do a survey by MOE about our math lessons. There were so many questions and it was very confusing so I just randomly answered them all. It wasn't too difficult to answer anway.
Now, I have come to realise how much I dislike secondary school life because of the type of holiday homework we have:
EnglishEnglish isn't too much of a problem. We just have to file in all our worksheets.
MathMath is just torturous. We have to:
1. Visit the website
http://www.dengue.gov.sg/2. Based on the graphs and tables as well as information you read up on Dengue from the website, write a 200-word newspaper report to advise Singaporeans on the danger of dengue.
I hate this. We also have to do Ace-Learning which is the e-learning portal for math.
ChineseI can barely even find the words to describe our Chinese assignments. We have to write a jounal entry, do a booklet on a
character of our choice and write about their background, history, appearance, character and our thoughts and feelings. Plus, we have a chinese composition to write of no less than 350 words
GRRRR...
and the e-learning is even worse! We have to do a si han online and watch some video and then, complete tests on the portal, and do a whole lot of other things.
Science
Science is at least still manageable. We were given a set of worksheet to do and e-learning as well, which is just a few tests. And we still have our DNA model to construct but since I have already done and compiled all the research, I doubt I'll have to turn up for the meeting during the March Holidays.
Geography
Geography is just horrible! Since I'm working with Rachel for the project, I have to write a 2-page report on why we should conserve the Amazon Rainforest. For E-learning, we have to read powerpoint slides and watch a video before attempting a crossword puzzle and a quiz. Then for Day 2, we have to read more powerpoint slides and watch another video and then, write a 120-150 word proposal to the "government" to propose measures to reduce pollution of the Ganges River. And then later upload it onto Lead.com
For Day3, we have to read a word document and research on the state of pollution for one of the rivers(Yangtze, Mississippi, Pasig, Chao Phraya and Rhone) and compile my findings into a newspaper article using the template given and again, upload it.
Geography is seriously becoming a major headache...
Okay, I know I've bored you with naming you all the homework I have been given. I know it isn't a lot but its tiring and stressful having to stare at the computer all day, uploading things, reading information, its just horrible.
At least, I managed to drink my last bubble tea for the week today before I came home. I went to CityVibe's SweetTalk and bought a passionfruit ice blended. It was delicious, especially since we had intensive PE training today and I didn't drink ANY water after that for the entire day.
Got to go..
