Sorry for not posting for so long, but I have had to stay back in school for the past few days to finish up the English and Home Econs projects.
Today was the cooking practical. Camille and I used
SO MUCH plates, bowls, cups, etc. Then, I forgot to bring the strawberries for the desert and Camille forgot rice! So we begged for some from the canteen...actually, we bought them legally. After assembly, we went straight to the kitchen and prepared the things we needed as written on the time plan. Soon enough, we had to begin cooking our dish. I started off rinsing the utensils and Camille took out the ingredients. At one point in time, Camille set me the task of peeling the skin of the water chestnuts. I almost sliced my hand!!! I was peeling and then, I held up a water chestnut but then suddenly realised that there was nothing in my hand and I was about the slice my hand off instead!!! So freaky!! That's what you get for sleeping at 11pm the night before...Anyway, we presented the dish to Miss Rajwin and well, she didn't say much...just gave us the thumbs-up. Then...the task of washing up. There was just so much to wash I can barely describe it. The sink was clogged up with water chestnut skin...heaven knows where they came from...and I had to pick them up. Disgusting...but required. Because we are graded on hygiene and cleanliness. Miss Rajwin was rushing us because the whole class was so slow in cleaning up that it was eating into chinese period. Missed part of HCL class...heehee...
For Lifeskills today, Miss Cai was like, talking about masturbation and everyone was disturbing Jacob because he made that one unwise decision to open his mouth during the lesson to comment, so everyone was saying that he had
experience...I can't wait for the March Holidays...a well-deserved break from hectic school life. Oh yeah, I got my iPod!!! Its green!! I took a picture to upload here but I just can't find my connector!!!! I promise I'll upload it as soon as I can:)
By the way, I went to Prisca's house yesterday to film the last scene of the english project video. Her house is super small...no offence. When we finished, Camille needed to go back to FMS(P) to ask Mr Elfian to teach her how to edit the video and I had to tag along as well to record my voice for the narration. I'm the narrator and camera-person if you would like to know...Prisca and I wanted to buy bubble tea but Prisca insisted she change out of her "angel" outfit first. So Camille and I waited impatiently at the lift lobby for her to finish. Then, she came out wearing super short shorts!! Almost as short as Yijie's!! We ran out and walked to FMS(P). Along the way, Prisca was complaining about her shorts and that she just grabbed the first thing she could find. Couldn't she have worn her FMS(S) shorts?? Weird...But at least we got our bubble tea.
Today's presentation was rather okay, except that Camille was worrying about our storyline because after seeing all the other groups presenting(we were one of the last), we kind of got "demoralized" about our storyline, because we thought it wasn't fantasy enough. Anyway, Miss Sheena didn't comment, so it should be alright...
