Okay..I haven't been updating for some time now. Had NAPFA five stations yesterday. I think this has to be the best NAPFA I have ever done!
Here are my results:
Standing Broad Jump-168cm
Sit-and-Reach-44.5cm
Inclined Pull-ups-15
Sit-ups-34
Shuttle Run-11.81 (seconds?)
Today is the 2.4km run. Hope I get at least a C. Then I'll get my NAPFA gold!!
Doing KooBits now...boring...
Okay, I am officially a FIT and HEALTHY person!! I managed to do my 2.4km run in 16 minutes and 10 seconds!! Isn't that cool? I mean, I usually take 20 minutes during normal practices! When we started out, I ran quite a distance, then I couldn't take it anymore because of my aching legs and I walked. Jeelian and I walked for some time, before we started running again. Then, super damn tired again and I walked. This went on for quite some time before I asked Jeelian how much time had passed and she said "3 minutes to fail!" and right then and there, I sprinted all the way to the finishing line! And I made it! I got a C grade and that equals a NAPFA GOLD!! Can you actually believe I'm so healthy and fit that I managed to get a
GOLD for NAPFA??? I'm a GENIUS!!
There's a lot of homework for the Easter holidays and I have five tests next week..*sigh*. Sometimes, I really hate secondary school life. Everything seems to be part of our final grades!
One more thing: My arms, legs, back, shoulders and head is aching now!! It hurts so much that I have to grit my teeth and clamp my lips together to keep from screaming because it hurts so much!! Seriously, it really does hurt. It started out on Tuesday this week during PE practice for the five stations. I did way too many standing broad jumps and I forced myself to do 3 pathetic inclined pull-ups and I was rewarded with aching and over-stretched muscles. Then, yesterday, before NAPFA, I was super nervous and I tried doing a proper standing broad jump and I could barely even cross the 150cm mark! So, I practiced and practiced and I ached terribly after that. But still, I did well:) This morning, when I woke up, I couldn't find the energy to sit up because my stomach muscles and my leg muscles and all my muscles hurt so badly! Throughout the course of the entire day, I had to control myself for fear I would scream out loud due to the pain I felt each time I climbed the stairs, or just merely stood up or sat down, or even walking. Its that bad...I was practically freaking out before the 2.4km run. Thank goodness I passed! But, well, nothing comes without a price right? So, I got my desired results but had to pay with my overall flexibility.
Anyway, hope I do get my gold because I'm afraid I might have calculated my results wrongly even though all my grades are nothing less than a 'C'.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I haven't updated on the field trip! The trip was quite alright. We boarded the bus and travelled a long, long distance to Sungei Serangoon. There, Rachel and I took notes about the river and filled up the worksheet. Jessica tested the ph of the river water and we completed the section on the river. Then, boarded the bus again, went to the Kallang River just opposite the old NDP stadium. Again, did the same things all over again. Lent my worksheet to Rachel and Jessica when we got on the bus to get back to school. That reminds me, I wonder if Verine and Jodi have copied down the notes we took. Nevermind...
