Prologue
the girl next door

http://infinity--onhigh.blogspot.com
I could go back to every laugh, But I don't wanna go there anymore, And I know all the steps up to your door, But I don't wanna go there anymore.
I’ll leave my window open, Cause I’m too tired at night to call your name. Just know I’m right here hoping, That you’ll come in with the rain.

YT Presentation
Monday, August 31, 2009

SUNDAY
Had the YT presentation today. It was an utter failure, in my opinion. Some people forgot their lyrics and we sounded quite soft. Anyway, at least we all got a free T-shirt (which makes us look like we're from a cleaning company). My parents abandoned me at church so I sat in the library. When I was there, I heard this girl talking about another girl called Jane in church. And when someone mentioned that there was another Jayne (me) in YT, she said super loudly, "I don't care about that Jayne." I wonder why I felt so hurt at that moment. Am I having mood swings? I hope not. Anyway, my parents came back for me and brought the family to eat at Food Haven. Had katsu don which was super nice, especially on a rainy day and when you're starving. My dad drove my mum and I to JP after lunch. Did quite a lot of shopping there. I bought Marie Digby's latest album (Breathing Underwater), two Puffin Classics books, and an 'O' Level physics guidebook. After buying my stuff, I followed my mum around to her shops. Outside G2000, we spotted a Frey swedish chocolate sale. The chocolate was super cheap. So we bought 3 bars of dark chocolate and 2 bars of Panna Cotta chocolate. Yum! Got to try many other types of chocolates at the sampling booth as well. Free chocolate+sugar rush=Happy Jayne! Went home at around 5.30. By the way, my grandparents are in town. Hating it like mad.

TODAY
Happy Teachers' Day to all teachers!
Celebrations were quite interesting this year. Student Council did a great job. There was a mad rush to give the teachers presents after the celebration and I felt darn paiseh that I hadn't a present to give my teachers. I only gave Ms Cai and Ms Ng cards which were super ugly. Seeing everybody with large bags of presents only made things worse. Sigh.
Met up with 6A again at the primary school today. It was nice to see everyone again but it was awkward. It was so awkward that in the end, I just followed Piao Lin, Piao Min, Prisca, Luisa, Qing Li, Marcus, Benedict and a few others to Fusion. Drank a caramel frapp today. Its much nicer than the cream-based ones, because this one was a coffee-based frapp. Definitely a must-try. Had lunch (dumpling noodles) at the food court downstairs. $3.50 is a little expensive for dumpling noodles, but I was in such a bad mood I couldn't care less. Was having fun with Piao Min's purple balloon. We were bouncing it back and forth, calling it Piao Lin. So, beware of what coffee can do to you. We went back to the primary school after Fusion. But we still couldn't go in yet so we waited for some time.
Saw Phoebe, Amanda, Sophie and everyone else today. But I didn't manage to talk much to them, except for Rachel and Yi Jie. They just don't talk to you anymore, no matter how much you try to strike up a conversation with them. Talking about the gathering makes me even more depressed, so I shan't say anything more.
I took 74 to SP to meet my mum at 2pm. Borrowed loads of Cecelia Ahern and Nicholas Sparks books from the library there. Managed to find The Phantom of the Opera and a learn-it-yourself Japanese book.

Overall, this week has been rather depressing. With so many disappointments and heartbreaks, I think I'm going mad. So many things have been happening. First, it was that girl in church. Then, it was the 6A gathering. Coupled with the fact that my parents have been arguing and my grandparents are here, it makes a pretty sad life. Nevermind, I won't bore you with emo-ing so I had better stop blogging now.

I guess things have changed.
