Today is Study-for-Science day and I swear, I’m going to mug science until I complete everything I’m supposed to know. I’m currently trying to grasp classification. Tomorrow will be Study-for-Math day.
My mum brought me out last night to Popular bookshop to buy the ‘O’ Level 10-year-series. People are really snapping it up like mad. Ever since the news came out that the 10-year-series will not be printed anymore after this year because of the copyright, people have been rushing to buy them. What I think, is that Cambridge wants to re-use the questions from past years into the ‘O’ level papers for the next few years. There aren’t any more English, Chinese, Geography, History and E Math books left. But my mum is going to get those from her colleagues so I’m safe. I only managed to buy Bio, Chem, Physics, SS, and A Math. And I bought the worked-out solutions for English and A Math so in the end; I still have the English 10-year-series questions, except that there are answers given. One book is actually quite cheap, I realized. The most you would pay is $8. And the years are 1999-2008. It’s quite a good deal so I bought the whole stack.
I still need to get more supplies. I need to buy more pens. The current pens I have are lousy, even though they’re branded. So, I’ve resorted to using cheap Popular bookstore brand pens and I still like using them the most. They’re the most reliable pens I’ve ever used throughout the years. Most of you know that I have the habit of spinning my pen whenever I do my work so with the current branded pens I have, whenever I spin it out of my hand and it hits the table or falls to the floor, the ink just stops working and the entire pen is perfectly useless. It’s infuriating. But with my cheap Popular bookstore pens, I can drop the pen as many times as I like and the ink doesn’t stop flowing.
Have to go and mug now…
